Going to Study in Germany – Is this university good? How to find out?

I plan on doing my masters in electrical (communications) engineering from Germany.

Ive missed the winter semester so instead of waiting for october 2010 i started looking for universities that accepted admissions in the summer as well.

my choices now were very slim so from these i chose The university of Kassel: http://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programmes/07535.en.html?ipid=1134&iplevel=2&ipterm=&ipterm2=&ipfield=8&ipsubject=710&iptypehei=0&iptownhei=&iphei=0&iplangdistribution=0&iplangtest=&iptuitionfees=0&ipjointdegree=&ipparttime=&ipfasttrack=&ipcombined=&ipduration=0

their summer semester starts in april

Im going for their ECE program.

Im nervous because of my narrow choice and that I dont choose the wrong university just because i missed the winter semester.

So anyone who studied from germany, can you please help me out..

Thank you

I’m a German math student. In Germany there’s no such big difference in quality between the universities.
The program you’re looking at sounds pretty neat, so don’t worry about that.

If you’re from the US, ask them what you need to >know< – Germanys’ undergraduate system doesn’t have any subjects expect major and minor, so you might have to brush up some skills a bit.
